These are a few of the console stereos we have restored and sold. I no longer put them on the website as they sell as fast as I can get them done.
We usually have a stock of the German sets (Grundig, Metz, etc.).

RESTORED 1957 15KT24-CW MOTOROLA CONSOLE





This HiFi console has been fully restored
including re-finishing and new period grill
cloth. We added a set of soft rubber casters.
















It features an AM/FM receiver and a fully automatic record changer with 4 speeds, automatic sizing, and 6-record stack. The amplifier has separate bass and treble controls with color indicators. The Jensen speaker system has a massive 15” woofer, two 5” midranges, and one 4” tweeter. We added an input for a smartphone or MP3 player. Record storage is under the receiver.











The changer was fully rebuilt and serviced. A new cartridge and needle was installed for long record life. All switches and controls cleaned. The amplifier and tuner had all filter condensers and capacitors replaced. The tubes test as new. 










This console is offered with a 90 day limited warranty and local (within 50 miles) delivery at $1695.00. SOLD but more available.

MAGNAVOX 3ST661A STEREO CONSOLE




This stereo console came from the original owners at an estate sale. They bought it July 13, 1963.

















All the documentation, installation card, and display tag.










The unit features an AM/FM stereo receiver and a fully automatic record changer with 4 speeds, automatic sizing, and 6-record stack. The amplifier has separate bass and treble controls and an extra input for a CD or MP3 player. There is ample storage for records inside. The speaker system has two 12” woofers on the sides and two 4" x 10” horns in the front.

The changer was fully rebuilt and serviced. A new cartridge and needle was installed for long record life. All switches and controls cleaned. The amplifier and tuner had all filter condensers and capacitors replaced. All tubes test as new. The cabinet finish is original and in nice shape.

RESTORED MID-CENTURY CLAIRTONE CONSOLE STEREO



This beautiful console was made by Clairtone in 1965/66. Using the highest quality components at the time and a rugged Garrard record changer, it was built to last. The Danish Modern cabinet is made of walnut veneered furniture grade plywood with solid walnut legs and trim. Each side contains a 12" 2-way speaker system.









The front doors slide open for record storage. Each end opens to reveal the record changer and receiver. The unit is 63" Long x 19" Deep and 28" High.









The receiver is approx. 30 watts per channel from high-grade Germanium Power Transistors. The chassis was rebuilt with all new electrolytic capacitors. All switches and controls were cleaned. It has inputs for a stereo source such as a tape deck or MP3 player and a mono input as well. Switched external speaker jacks are provided. It is a real "space-age" design with a row of rocker switches at the top and the unusual shaped knobs across the bottom.









The record changer was fully rebuilt with a new drive tire, cartridge, needle, full dis-assembly of the motor for re-lubrication and all adjustments made.

This changer plays all record and all sizes. You can stack up to 6 records for 2 hours of listening. It also has a manual play spindle if you wish to handle the records yourself.

RESTORED ADMIRAL 60's CONSOLE STEREO

 

 This stunning console stereo was made in Chicago, IL in 1960. The most unusual feature is the hinged and removablespeakers.  The speakers swivel up to 90 degrees and by removing one retaining nut, they can be separated up to 20 feet apart.  Each speaker cabinet contains an 8” woofer and two 3” tweeters.

 

 

 

 

The vacuum tube receiver features an AM/FM stereo tuner and twin 10 watt EL84 power amplifiers with separate bass and treble controls.

 

 












The fully automatic record changer plays all four speeds, and includes the original 45 rpm adapter.

 

 

 





The record changer was fully rebuilt and serviced.  A new cartridge and needle was installed for long record life.  All switches and controls cleaned.  All paper and filter capacitors are new along with a matched pair of output tubes. The 8” woofers are new.  The cabinet and speakers were re-finished matching the original stains and multiple coats of hand-rubbed finish applied.

This stereo even has an auxiliary input for a tape deck, CD, or MP3 player for the ultimate in versatility.
